Applications:
There is no specific use of the N2MICRO. Some customers use it for:
- • laboratory applications
- • drinks dispensing and blanketing of empty vessels
- • photographic studios to inert the developing bath
Gas Quality:
- Nitrogen purity better than 99,5%
(different settings allow to reach higher purity levels)
- Outlet pressure: 5 barg

| N2 MICRO is a general purpose nitrogen generator. It is the smallest of all the nitrogen generators manufactured by CLAIND.
Main features of the N2 MICRO are:
- Based on the PSA (Pressure Swing Adsorption) principle
- Completely autonomous and automatic thanks to an integral oil-free compressor
- Able to supply 4 liters/minutes nitrogen at 5 barg pressure, with purities better than 99,5 %
- 36-litre built-in tank, to allow constant flow over peaks consumption
- equipped with a high-efficiency filtering system against humidity, so that the water condensation is vented automatically
- provided with an electronic control device which allows to produce the needed nitrogen quantity without stressing the compressor and consequently assuring longer life
The maintenance of the N2MICRO is limited to changing a few filter elements taking less than 30 minutes per year. The system regenerates itself automatically giving you a continuous, uninterrupted supply of gas.
Working Principle
Thanks to the PSA (Pressure Swing Adsorption) principle the generator produces nitrogen by compressing ambient air and passing it into a Carbon Molecular Sieve bed (CMS).
Inside the CMS bed, oxygen, moisture, CO2 and other 'contaminants' are trapped allowing nitrogen to pass through into a holding reservoir.
Nitrogen from the holding reservoir is regulated to a fixed flow and pressure before exiting the generator.
