Claind's zero air purifiers produce ultra high pure zero air from a compressed air supply. Different models, designed for every kind of laboratory, are realized in rack, desk and wall version with output flow rate from 1 to 20 l/min.
Total hydrocarbons (THC) are reduced under 0.1 ppm allowing extremely low, flat and stable baseline of GC-FID analyzers, enhancing sensitivity and improving report analysis.
All is needed is a mains power supply, and a compressed air supply to produce ultra high purity zero air 24 hours per day. An internal temperature controller will maintain constantly the catalytic reactor to its optimum operating temperature.
The heart of Claind’s zero air purifiers is a platinum-palladium catalytic reactor, designed and manufactured by Claind for its exclusive use.
Working Principle:
The elimination of hydrocarbon, till less than 0.1 ppm, takes place through the strong oxidant power of the platinum and palladium catalytic reactor, which is maintained at the temperature of 385° C.
Optional filters, put in series mode with the reactor, allow the adsorption of the sulphurous (SOX) and nitrogenous (NOX) products and H2S and O3.
The hydrocarbon elimination is with efficiency >99 % for CH4 e > 99.5 % for BX, TX, C3H4, ETYL, PROPYL, and so on.
