DA Maxi Compressed Air Dryer

for flows from 1-1115 slpm

DA Maxi Dryer

Compact, regenerative compressed air dryers capable of achieving dew points of better than -100°F (-73°C) for flows from 1- 1115 slpm. Ideal for OEM and point-of-use applications requiring ultra-dry air. Accessories include an inlet particulate and coalescing filters, outlet filter-regulator, moisture indicator, surge tank, and electronic humidity alarm.
Product Features:
  • Ultra-dry air to dewpoints as low as –40°F or –100°F (-73°C)
  • Flow capacities to 1115 slpm at operating pressures from 3,5 - 10 bar (50 to 150 psig)
  • Compact, lightweight aluminum construction
  • Continuous self-regenerative operation
  • Easy to install and no regular maintenance required
  • Low electric power consumption (10W) and NEMA 4 rating
  • Optional CO, CO2, or HC removal
  • Manufactured in a Demand Flow Technology environment to ensure world-class quality and on-time delivery
Principle of Operation:
The PCR dryer employs Pressure Swing Adsorption (PSA) Technology to remove water vapor from ordinary compressed air . The inlet (lower) shuttle valve directs the wet air into one of the two desiccant chambers where nearly all of the water vapor is removed. The ultra-dry air leaving the desiccant chamber passes through the outlet (upper) shuttle valv e to the application. Both shuttle valves contain a wafer-like disk, which “shuttles “ back and forth in the valve body based on the pressure differential created by the position of the two-way solenoid valves. A precision orifice in the outlet shuttle disk allows a portion of the dry air leaving the desiccant chamber to be redirected back through the off-line tower, purging it of its accumulated moisture. The purge stream exits the unit through the open solenoid valve directly below the chamber being regenerated. A solid-state timer controls the process by opening and closing the solenoid valves.
